My brother made it home.
Its good to see him. It had been over a year.
Our parents are glad he is home, and relieved he made it safely.
But tempers are starting to get a little short.
Mom and Dad are trying to help him get set up, get a job, and his own apartment. They feel that he is not interested in improving his situation, and all he wants to do is sleep, go out with friends, and eat.
My brother is used to living his own live, and doesnt like being told what to do all the time.
And Im stuck in the middle.
My dog is scared of him. She doesnt remember him, even though hes the one who bought her as a puppy and lived with him for almost five years. Shes starting to get used to him though.
I guess for now thats what we all have to do. Get used to it. Once we all get used to being together again things will get better.

Sounds pretty tense. It can be really difficult having all family members back under the same roof. Everyone seems to regress. Old behaviors and family dynamics kick in. Perfectly sane people behave embarassingly and bizarrely. I don't even recognize myself sometimes during the holidays! Maybe it's a good thing that your dog doesn't recognize him 
I think you should post more pictures of your dog. Maybe a few of him barking at strangers and looking ferocious?
