i haven't really stormed out of the stuio in forever. if anything, i stay on too long. seriously... if it's a really good session, i get a sweet buzz on, it's been three hours, i'm like, "fuck it, let's write some new stuff" then i think, maybe we should stop writing now. but disagreeing with other people... to me, that is a normal fucking thing to do at your job. i've had tons of other jobs, and i've always bitched about people. it's my job. it's my gig.
i'm never argumentative for the sake of being argumentative, i don't think. and more than ever, i've had to fight just to get songs recorded, or just to be able to walk away with pride. this can be a pretty humiliating job. it can just suck. as great as it can be... i get to write music and tour and make records... it can just be the wrost. all these things come out of nowhere and take your original idea and steer it in wrong directions. especially dealing with young writers or being in a venue where you can't control the circumstances.
i know how it comes off, you think, "he is so hot headed. he is such an asshole, and oh my gawd... this and that!"
whatever. i don't apologize for being me.
