well, i heard there was a secret chord. that david played and it pleased the lord. but you don't really care for music, do ya? well it goes like this: the fourth, the fifth. the minor fall and the major lift. the baffled king composing hallelujah.
i was watching the news last night about the wildfires out in california. i tell you what. people just don't understand how fucked those things get. you just don't. and that's not a shot at anyone. it's just, you see it on your television. you say it sucks. but, until you see it firsthand... it's just impossible to understand. i was living in california last season and i swear those fires were an exact replica of hell. some heavy shit.
also watched the baseball game last night. it ended with a teixeira grand slam in the eigth to win the game. holla.
went wakeboarding on saturday. tried to get fancy and do a flip. ouch. i lost that battle. won't be trying that again anytime soon. the flip that is.
i need to go re-buy yaz "upstairs at eric's" today. what a classic. seventh grade. making out. ah, the memories.
cooking for crissy this evening. yep. love to cook. i'm just a mess about it all. kitchen looks like a tornado zone when i'm done. ha. nonetheless, tonight we're having... mixed green's with avocados, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, olives and my home-made dressing. tenderloin beef filets thinly sliced in the middle (like a pita), lightly stuffed with a small amount of mild chihuahua cheese and seasoned butter, topped with a mild chile mulatto sauce and sliced avocado. the filet will be served with grilled zucchini, rice and black beans. we'll most likely wash it down with some vino. i'm thinking... torres sangre de toro. a nice little inexpensive number from spain.
aw, hell. they're talking about texas bbq on the today show. gotta run. "get your grub on, katie. get... it... on!"
alright, kiddios. have a good one. live fat. be skinny.
