OK, stick with me 'cause this is going to ramble a little bit...

I just got back from breakfast with a bunch of Army buddies. We were all at Ft. Bragg together in '03 and '04, and one of our friends was passing through town on her way back to Oregon. One of the women there and I had dated briefly years ago and we've maintained our friendship. So we're laughing and talking about old times, when HER ex-boyfriend walks in comes up to her and says hello. He's with a girl who I don't really look at because I'm watching the reaction on my friends face (awkward moment you know). Anyway, after a pause I look over at the girl this guys with and watta ya know, she's one of MY ex-girlfriends. OK, Sacramento is NOT a small city. It ain't New York, but I mean damn. I hadn't seen this girl in close to 5 years and there she is. She waved to me and I got up and gave her a hug, told her it was nice to see her, and gave her my phone number. It seemed like the thing to do, but now that I'm home I hope she doesn't call me. The break up was not so nice.
