Well...
Halloween came and went. Had a party, got sick. I guess you could call that a 50-50 split. Went as old man Elvis (my little tribute to Bubba Hotep...Bruce Campbell rules!) Time for a top ten Horror movie list...

Halloween
Jaws
Evil Dead 2
The Shinning
The Thing
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Psycho
The Last Man on Earth
The Exorcist
Hellraiser

A predictable list...but good one. I'm leaving off all of the Japanese horror stuff as well because I don't think it's fair to the rest of these great movies. Those things are scary as all hell!

Honorable mentions (or disqualifications) or just plain great Halloween movies that aren't scary...

The Monster Squad (not really a horror movie but a great halloween movie!)
The Worst Witch (my obsession with this flick could be subject for many debates)
Young Frankenstein

I hope everyone ate lots of candy and had the shit scared out of them at least once.
