Burt (my truck) is fixed! Yay! It only cost $120, and I had it the first business day they were open after I dropped it off! Roy's Garage rocks!

So, Two days late, I took my Seadoo home. Not that I was going out on the lake yet anyway... Maybe this weekend if I'm crazy enough.

So I went to the Secretary of State office (DMV for non-Michiganders) to renew the license plate on my truck and SeaDoo trailer. I plop down a hundred and fifty bucks. After work I go to my parents' house to slap that plate on my trailer so I can take it home. I park the Lightning just outside the garage door that contained my trailer...

Well, I started updating many days ago, but I got pulled away. So here is my update (and I am trying the submission via e-mail method.)

So I was sitting in front of my computer playing my favourite guitar last night, and I pulled up the chords for Just What I Needed by The Cars, probably my very favourite pop rock song, and one I...

I'm all sunburned. It no longer hurts, but I'm flaking like a freaking leper. It's gross... okay, so it's not like a leper, there's no gross pus or anything, but the dry, dead skin on my face is annoying. Every single spring I fuck up once and forget the sunscreen. I have to get burned to a crisp to make me remember to apply the...

YES. You need to update badly.

I saw something really fun on TV this weekend. The TiVo recorded Penn and Teller's Bullshit for me based on my suggestions. Not only did this show interest me, but I found the episode that it happened to record quite interesting. The title of the episode was The Bible: Fact or Fiction? and you can check it out at the Showtime website here:

Mikael on his journal has charged everyone to find some "awesome, new, thoughtful music without distorted guitars and an over-limited mastering job."

Hmm... It's funny thinking about this, as I really have had trouble the last several years getting into new music, especially rock, through the normal channels. I have issues with nearly everything on the radio, playing the same artists seven hundred times a...

Radio is dreadfull here in Michigan. I use the internet and Alternative Press (they may feature the flavor of the month punk band on the cover, but they report on a lot of obscure bands) to locate new sounds.

Here are my current favs that you may or may not like -

Friends Of Dean Martinez - instrumental surf/lounge with a touch of country twang

The Kite-Eating Tree - think softer Quicksand or Helmet

Error - wacked-out digital hardcore

Scarling - metal goddess formally of Jack Off Jill

Your Enemies Friends - synth based post hardcore

Utah! - low key rock-a-billy with a cello

Amen - vicious bile spitting post punk

Boxcar Satan - Punky blues in the veign of The Jesus Lizard

Motion City Soundtrack - pop culture obsessed power pop

Clutch - there's always room for Clutch, the new album is fantastic!

So, yea, if you are bored one night, try downloading some of those, you never know what might catch your ear!

Bwahahaha! It's pinky! Go give a shout to MissKaboom!!! Anyway... I'm supposed to update, since I have been quite distracted the past many days.

Shawna and I made our trip home, and it was largely uneventful. I did get stopped by a state cop for going twenty over. He asked how my driving record was, and ran my license. gave it back a few...

So tomorrow, I drive many hours to go get Shawna from school. This means I will soon have two beautiful women living with me. Can I handle it? Probably. I worry about it less and less as each day passes.

My hair has been recently cut. I make it short partially so people pet my head... almost always girls... and usually cute ones, like last...

ok, you need to update. very few excuses, though those you have are extremely valid.

Just last week I thought I would probably never have to experience the agony of blue balls again. Well, I was wrong. Circumstance brings me to last night with a girl in my bed equally as beautiful as my Shawna (who facilitated her being there so it's not cheating,) who two years ago, would not even really make eye contact with me because she didn't...

This morning I found in my truck a couple CDs Shawna made for herself, and forgot to get out of my truck when I took her to school. Listening to them makes me feel a bit of her with me. Although they are merely polycarbonate discs with an aluminum substrate with dark ink spots burned into them in intricate patterns, they seem to me to...

That's cool, I love how music can remind you of things like that.

And if you want to hear some Rapsutina go here, to their official pafe. They are so unique, I love it!

I saw Kill Bill Vol. 2 last night. It was good even though I hadn't seen the first one. I really need to. I want more swords. I have one that is quite nice, though quite small for me, as it is a Wakasashi. it sits in its scabbard on top of my entertainment centre and is what I would call a home security system....

that wakasashi is totally 'the shawna" sized. If we were being attacked though, I'd be hiding in the closet (yes I would return to the closet if I had to), while you fought the bad guys... *sigh* I'm such a femme.

Swords are cool.... huh huh

Great movie, but I can't believe you missed the first one!!!! eeek

Well, I must say that the site has been tested by me on my cell phone running IE for PocketPC, and now on a computer running Linspire (a funky nonfree Linux distribution) running a funky Linspire version of Mozilla going through the TV in my living room. Both work great. computer graphics still look funky on any TV screen, even a Sony Wega.
evanx:
Nice!

Hey! You have a PC right? I am having a problem getting into SG with my browser. I tried IE, Moxilla and Firefox and none of them will let me in! I am having to use AOL to get here. It's odd because I can get to EVERY OTHER site I try!!! I don't get it, what would cause this?
evanx:
I know, it's not making any sense. I got free AOL 'till June when I bought this computer. But I have DSL, so I never use it. But NOW, I have to use on AOL to get to SG. It's really annoying.
