greetings on a lovely friday the 13th. mr. vorhees and i will lead you through the tour of my skull on this so fine day.
my class is over. i'm very pleased about this. i would be happier if there hadn't been a silly argument last night around 11 pm regarding dishes, an argument with a person who shall remain nameless.
but, i'm glad the class is over. the presentation went well, we clocked in at 20 minutes exactly, i got an A on the second paper which means an A on both short essays, and probably a high B in the class.
i'm glad i'm free for the next couple weeks. til my online class starts. and i'm working this job that's rather boring with a shitty long drive, but it's money until i start vocal training classes in september.
thank you to everyone for their wonderful comments on my overdue-to-update last journal. i'm glad i have so many virtual friends who stop by my virtual SG page and leave their virtual musings.
ta for now. i'll insert some pertinent song lyrics shortly.
*the aforementioned lyrics of the day. good idea. lyrics of the day. that'll be my new thing. speaking of my supposed pleasure at the class ending, these lyrics are really uplifting, aren't they? well, it's where my heart's really at currently*
Catch me if I fall
I'm losing hold
I can't just carry on this way
And every time
I turn away
Lose another blind game
The idea of perfection holds me
Suddenly I see you change
Everything at once
The same
But the mountain never moves
Rape me like a child
Christened in blood
Painted like an unknown saint
There's nothing left but hope
Your voice is dead
And old
And always empty
Trust in me through closing years
Perfect moments wait
If only we could stay
Please
Say the right words
Or cry like the stone white clown
And stand forever
Lost forever in a happy crowd
No one lifts their hands
No one lifts their eyes
Justified with empty words
The party just gets better and better
I went away alone
With nothing left
But faith

virtual virtual. here i am. i am doing okay. arguments about dishwashing, eh. here it was heavy discussion on him not recalling us talking about buying a new washing machine for clothes. men cannot do one thing and listen at the same time. although they are very good at pretending they can. stupid
