Ahh yeah a good ol' weekend in the mountains. It was my uncle's 4th wedding and it was up in Leavenworth (psedo-bavarian town in the mountains). My parents now live there and will start building on their retirement house next year. They're also building a cabin halfway between Leavenworth and Stevens Pass.
All I can say is that it's fawking beautiful up there. It was dry and mid 80's with the smell of pine needles the entire time. I was the BBQ chef for the wedding and just about killed myself with smoke inhalation. While I was up there I did some good ol' garage sailing. Picked up to wicker chairs for $3 a piece, compactable camping chairs for $5 a piece and a portable car coffee maker that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Fine, fine merchandise.
Here's some picts of the trip:
The backyard view from my parent's house.
My parent's house (I'll probably buy it in 2 years):
Back of the house:
Oh yeah and here's my uncle and his new bride. His nickname has been 'The One Eyed Fat Man'.
Scary eh...

Yep .. sucks ass doesn't it. To braces on and a limited range of motion. I'm actually all healed up now but it was pretty ugly for about 2-3 weeks. I had surgery on the June 16th to get a metal plate 5 screws and a wire in my right wrist.
