I would give him some static- but his method was private until you made it public. And I suspect that you aren't taking any arguments, and so the result is void. And in any event, I can not take exception to his approach, for it has class. If he keeps this up, you will soon have a collection of lines that will be anything but generic, for they seem to be exactly your type.
