i need to start charging if im going to keep cooking this much

my friends keep asking me to cook for parties and such...

i am goin to start charging...

My friend says.. i'm having a little party at my house for the girlfriends family...can you help me out and cook some stuff for me..I say sure no problem.. He then asks for

100 empanadas
2 Pork Shoulders (pernile)
2 big trays of rice (one white and one Arroz con gondules)
he wants a big tray of Beans
he asked me to make potatoe salad
a regular salad
he asked me to make fried chicken!

then he thinks he can pull this off for 45 bucks!!!

i think he was slightly insane!

just finished cooking all of it...and im exhausted!

Sounds good though. Except the potato salad of course. I'm not one for that sort of thing. It does sound like you should charge though, or at the very least get him to help.

How about offering your friends cooking classes for a nice fee? They'd probably still ask you to cook for them but at least you get extra money out of it. Plus you get to threaten them with utensils when they do something wrong.
