^my tits are getting bigger. I've gone from a solid B to a small C. My chest muscles are killing me. No I'm not preggers, I'm just blossoming!
********Monica's College Registration Day********
Well, anyway, I went to school today and signed up for my classes. My schedule was a bit difficult to work because I had already had 19 hours. It was awesome to find out that my AP english class covered 2 english classes! YAY! So I've gotten credit for English 110/226 and Bio, Geology, and 3 hours of history. I only need 29 hours to be considered a sophmore by my school. Dang! It's awesome. The only sucky part about today was that I found out that I didn't qualify to take out all of my loans without a cosigner, but my dad and I have found a great deal with a loan so I can buy my books and a new computer!!!! Yeehee!
Here is my schedule:
BLOCK 1 = Basic Photography / Orientation (College Experience Class)
BLOCK 2 = Intro to Museum Studies
BLOCK 3 = U.S. History Survey II
BLOCK 4 = Foundations of Physical Fitness and Wellness
BLOCK 5 = The West and the World I
BLOCK 6 = Pre Calculus
BLOCK 7 = Environmental Science
BLOCK 8 = Composition, Research, and Rhetoric
I went ahead and declared my major as Museum Studies and my minor as History. I got to see my dorm room, which is uber tiny! it's even smaller than the one I stayed in at ETSU for a summer program. I can cope though. I know my roommates name and her number. She lives in a town between Knoxville and Greeneville. I am going to call her sometime soon and I can't wait. I hope she isn't a crazy.
Speaking of CRAZY, I was doing my rounds and meeting people today when my dad and I sat down at the church info table. Since it is a religious school, i'm really trying to go into it with an open mind. So as I approached the table, my dad and I had the same look like we were terrified of what was about to happen. The guy that was sitting at the table was the Religious studies prof. I sat down and he stared at my boob for a bit and then said, "So, Monica, my name is blah blah blah.....(insert crazy mumbling giggle)....." He then put his hand in his chin and said, " so I have some pamphlets on the local churches if you are interested. since this is a religious school, we have to do this. I see you are from Knoxville. Sadly, many local students are victims of the Bible Belt, but I can see that you aren't." My dad and I gave an uncomfortable giggle and looked around. The prof then signed me up to go to the international student religious meetings. I would have gladly volunteered for such an interesting experience, but he was writing my name down before I could muster up a response. As we walked away, he said "I can tell you are going to make an impact here." I have no clue what that guy was on, but he was crazy yet still fuckin awesome. I can't wait to encounter him again.
Everyone was super nice. It was really laid back and I had so much fun. I feel a lot better now that I have that out of the way. I just have to get everything ready to leave in about 3 weeks.
Sorry for all the boring stuff! I figured the boob picture would be a reward.
