Alone yet again on a Saturday night. I really don't want to go home, so I go sit in the back of a bar downtown. Nobody really cares what my id says, I'm "much too pretty to sit alone". I'm unamused by everything the first 2 have to say. Blah blah I'm an accounting major at UT.... My friend here is an Art Major.... How would you like to model for our class.... All in one ear and out the other..... Lucky number three comes along. well, I think we were both lucky. We leave. I have no idea where we are going. "It's a surprise, just wait" I wait patiently, or so I try to make it seem that I was being patient. Only a few speckles of street lights and house lights. We spot a couple of deer and a small fox. I'm familiar with this area. Just about 30 minutes from home. We round a bend and I know exactly where I am. Norris Dam. I giggle and try to guess what people in the other parked cars are doing. Probably what's on our minds. "You have an oddly perverted little mind don't you little girl?" I hate being called little girl but I let it slide. YAWN! "Is it past your bedtime?" Yet another jab at my age. I'm very tired. Worked a long hard day and it's nearly midnight. "Let's get you home." Long drive back. The Crystal Method playing relatively loudly. I hang my head on the seatbelt and take a nap."You are asleep?" I grunt and try to have a converstation to keep myself awake, but only in vain. "Do you want anything?" I wake to the bright lights of the gas station parking lot. I can walk from here. I gather my giant bag and sweater. "You are a doll little girl. I'll see you again." I highly doubt that.
