I want to go to a museum and I don't much care what kind. I've just been looking at my pictures from France and thinking about the Louvre and how wonderful it was. It was the most amazing experience of my entire life. I've been looking for a museum to go to around here. I haven't been to the Knoxville Museum of Art since the M.C. Escher exhibit 6 years ago and I was just at the historical society's exhibit over the summer. There's nothing really all the impressive. One thing that really disappoints me about Knoxville is the lack of a decent museum. I'm not expecting the Louvre, but come on, we could do better. The only half decent one is the science museum in Oak Ridge or the one that i visited as a kid in Chattanooga. I may end up taking a little trip to find me a decent museum! Has anyone been to any museums that have just blown you away?

I'm really lucky because we've got an awesome art museum in town. They always have interesting exhibitions. Degas, Bacon, the Biedermeier style movement... They also have one of the largest collections of O'Keefes in the world. Plus, the building itself blows me away everytime.
