Went to bradford to see my bro for a few days last week. Now i am reallylooking forwardto moving there and starting work with him. I saw his graduation - it was a lot more traditional than i thought it would be.
Saw my folks too. They were actually shocked that i did WELL in my degree. I almost passed out with shock. They have always expected the very best from me o i thought they would be gutted at a 2:2 but they were pleased. Sure, it's pretty bad that they were surprised at what i got but i'm pleased. Phil (my bro) got a 2:1.
I got life on the ropes by sick of it all which is awesome, plus devil drivers album which kicks ass and i got a benny goodman compilation too. I prefer benny goodman to Glenn Miller now. I want to learn clarinet.
I am getting into Film noir and 1920s - 1950s movies. I got Touch of evil, Kiss me deadly, Some like it hot, Boarderline, the love lives of martha ivers and Colonel effinghams raid and i have ordered Detour, the maltese falcon, the big sleep and DOA. Kiss me deadly is my favorite so far. I love the noir style.
I won an art deco calender of ebay. It's nice.

Oh, and yes, my friend is unfortunately under society's grasp. She's probably the least independant person I have ever met. Why we ever became friends, I'm not sure, because we really don't have much in common, but I do love her. I just wish she would use her head sometimes!!
