Ok...so for all of you that read my journal entry last week, you know that I was having some sort of chest pains.
Well, they've gotten persistant, and worse. It's a sharp shooting pain right near my heart. It's been going on for a couple of months. So my hardass finally sucked it up and went to the doctor like everyone had been nagging about. Not you guys, I mean my family and friends and what not.
So i went and they did all of these tests. I guess my EKG was irregular. So they put me on a heart monitor. For 2 days I have to walk around with this clunky black box recorder thing, strapped to my belt. THere's all these wires and stuff because they stuck 5 probes to my chest that are connected to the box. So I have these wires hanging out from under my shirt.
I feel so incredibly stupid. I had to go to work with this thing, and I feel like people are looking at me and saying "Oh my god, what's wrong with her, she must be really sick or something."
You know what I hate? If you have wires hanging from under your shirt, like me, or if you're in a wheelchair, or on crutches, people talk to you like you're slow or deaf. They seem to speak to you slower, and louder than necessary. It's like no matter what has happened to you, minor or major, you've suddenly fallen under the category of mental retardation with an inability to hear.
So I have 48 hours with this thing, but I've already completed 37, so it's almost over. I guess I'll let you guys know if anything is actually wrong with me, which I doubt there is. I have to wait a week to find out.
So that's my weekend. This sucks!!
