Hi guys! I'm new to SG and I just submitted my very first hopeful set into the queue. It should be a long 4 months waiting for it to go live MR.
I've never been much of a blogger but I love to write and have too much to say. So from here on out, I'm going to probably stick to Rambo's blogging homework for inspiration. Hopefully I can keep it interesting enough for you!
But here's a look into my personality(ies)-
I'm a tattoo artist, I've been in the industry for 8 years. I'm a mom/step mom of 4. I have an incredibly supportive husband.
My life gets hectic and then it gets boring, always in sporadic waves.
I probably talk too much and my personality can be a little all over the place. I've embraced this concept that I'm a hot mess and I'm learning to make the best of that.
I'm entirely right brained. So I have alot going on up here, too much. I overanalyze. Alot. Even the logical parts of me can get too in depth. The downfall of being an artist, I guess.
I'm very emotional. And then sometimes I'm really not. (See what I'm saying?)
I can never categorize the kind of person I am because I have pieces of my in every category. (But then again, who isn't? People arent lists) I'm not perfect, but I'm this, that, and this. *peep the Atmosphere lyrical references. I use em too much. But the man's words can apply to essentially anything in my world*
I'm overly empethetic. That's something that almost never changes. I have my moments, where I can lack this trait, go on rampant venting sprees, slice up arguments, and then remind myself that I dont possess the right to play everyone's judge. I'm on a constantly revolving growth journey--bare with me. But my main goal as a human being is to be loving, understanding, and supportive of other human beings. Why? Because decency matters to me and I think every human being needs to hear that someone forgives your mistakes or supports you in not living up to others' standards.
I have a witty, spicy, and dry sense of humor. It gets me in alot of trouble, and not everyone is always on board. You might not find me funny, but I think I'm hilarious. It's clearly an unhealthy coping mechanism, and can confuse people on who they're dealing with. Also, if I seem like I complain alot, it's likely misinterpreted humor. If it seems that I dont take serious things too seriously, it's because I'd literally drown if I actually allowed the weight of the world sink me. I've nearly perfected the art of taking life with a grain of salt.
And I promise if you ever hear me contradict myself, it's not a sign of the apocalypse.
So enough about the psychological dumpster fire I am. Here's some lighter pieces of me:
I'm a true crime junkie. Particularly serial killers. Not in a nutty fangirl fashion. But I love to pick their brains and read up on the psychology.
I love horror movies, Disney movies, and romances. Not many things make me cry, but just about any movie will do it. I also reference mean girls at least once a day.
My music taste is all over the chart. Britney is my queen and has been since I was 4. I was raised on mostly sublime, Metallica, rage against the machine, and pennywise. Also alot of nwa, ice cube, snoop, etc. (I have young parents so we share these messy preferences). I'm a HUGE Atmosphere fan.(Cant you tell?) I have a WARNING sign tattoo from Fuck you Lucy. Because I got an idea. You should get a tattoo that says WARNING. That's all. Just a warning. So the potential victim can take a left, and save breath. And avoid you--sober and upset in the morning.
Almost everyone from Rhymesayers bumps through my speakers on the daily. If you dont know em, do yourself a favor and dive in. Start with some Dem Atlas, Brother Ali, Prof, Sa Roc, Grieves, Eyedea, and then just keep going. And going. Treat yourself, friends.
I was born a Raider fan. I know. Leave me alone. Everyone's team sucks. Even yours. This will never change so let that one go.
I started my apprenticeship at 15, so 3 years of being the shop bitch contributed alot to the spicy side of my personality. It's also where I met my talented husband.
We tattoo and raise this lil baseball team together. So yes, my life is a fairy tale, but sometimes the book is on fire, and I'm down with it
Kudos to you for reading this much about me as a person. I don't expect anyone to because Im aware I talk too much and if you're actually interested enough in getting to know me and watch this rollercoaster, I greatly appreciate you.
If you skimmed through this and just want to look at pictures of me, that's cool too😘
