Oh while I remember let me tell you about the Christening I went to a couple of Sunday's ago
The Christening was really good and I was paid a number of comments on the suit I was wearing. A patterned black 3/4 length suit which even if I do say so myself I do look good in. lol
It was a really nice service - their church is very user & child friendly. Controlled choas is the phrase
I didn't realise that there was a lunch afterwards at the same hotel they had their wedding reception at a eighteen months ago. My Godson is sooooo cute, he has big (you know you love me) eyes. He's going to be a lady killer! He's only a year old but he's already walking - not a good thing as he's that means they already have to hide everything.
I gave a little speech on his behalf thanking everyone for coming to his Christening and the lunch and apologising for falling asleep in the church, him not me lol.
It was a really nice lunch and they had hired a clown as well to entertain the kids after we had eaten.
The day got better and better for me. They gave me a present as a Godfather (that I did not expect). However, the crowning glory was being given my Xmas present for last year (that's right last year! It's cool that I have that kind of relaxed relationship with my friends that we don't have to give each other presents at the expected time - hopefully that statement makes sense)...... Anyway, first it was bigger than any of Mckenzie's, my Godson presents which was embarrassing (especially as it looked like I was stealing one of his Christening presents as they had put mine with his. GREAT!). I didn't open it for an hour or so when I got home. When I did it was a robot controlled Doctor Who K9
....... I SO LOVE MY FRIENDS. It is soooooo cooool!
