Ok, I'm annoyed at people who don't follow the rules. Rules are there for a REASON. And this is especially pertinent when it comes to sparring. And it's even more important when you're sparring with someone who is 60-70 lbs lighter than you and a few inches shorter. And it's quite important when you're supposed to be fighting ONE style and you're working on technique for ONE style of fighting.
So yeah, I was working with this one dude who outweighed me and was doing a lot of leg hooks and throws and MMA stuff. He dumped me on my ass a few times and the really fucking fucked up part was that he smashed me one one of these dumps and now my left leg is fucked up. I ended up straining my left lateral ligament in my knee and now I have to fucking favor it for a few weeks while it heals. Which means NO running, limited kicking, and a LOT of fucking babying. And FOR NO GODDAMN FUCKING REASON OTHER THAN THIS ASSHOLE WAS NOT TRAINING MUAY THAI AND HE WAS BIGGER THAN ME. It just pisses me off that I try to evade injury and then get injured by some fucking motherfucking piece of shit dumbass. If I don't do fight training, then I'm not going to get sparring practice and I'm not going to get clinching practice. But the options of who to work with really suck because NO ONE is usually my size.
And you know what? I always get injured by people who don't go by the rules. If we're MUAY THAI CLINCHING - clinching, NOT MMA, then you don't do those moves. And you should realize that I'm smaller. Rigel even had to tell this guy to not kick me so hard because of the weight difference. People don't realize that force = mass x velocity. And 20 lbs makes a big difference. Imagine a 70 lb difference.
I'm so pissed because I'm also supposed to fight at the end of November. I have to see how my leg feels tomorrow. If I do too much, then I can damage it more. If I do too little, I decondition. The last time I had a ligament strain, I was out of commission for over a month and then another month before my knee could take the impact of kicking a bag. What a fucking asshole. He should totally have his nuts sliced off for this.
Can you tell I'm pissed?

If it gets worse I will have to force them to give me an MRI. But as long as you can rest it it will heal.
Hopefully, this will amuse you a bit...
