Ouch. Saturday I had a huge case of insomnia. Last night, I woke up at 1 a.m. and finally got my ass back to sleep at 4 a.m. and well, now I'm awake again. Hmm, 4 hours of sleep is not working very well for me. I have to leave for my rotation site soon anyway. I'm just sucking down coffee and a pb sandwich before I leave.
I typically have a sleeping problem during school because my brain goes into overdrive and even if I'm conscious of it or not, I'm stressing about studying and assignments and presentations and my board exams. So I'm sleeping like crap. I fall asleep great and then wake up and stay awake for a while. It's sort of hard to function efficiently.
I might just skip the gym today and see if I can catch some sleep but that's not the best way to get my sleep either because I'm afraid I won't be able to sleep even more at night. I guess I'll pack all my gear and if I feel like shit by the time 4 p.m. rolls around, then I'll just head home.
Have a good day everyone!

aahhh, you're so right about gym skipping being bad for the insomnia, but sometimes what we need the most is last on the list, no?
what are you going to school for?
