I don't want the weekend to be over...
Friday, I came home, I rested, and eventually met up with old friends (and their extended group of friends) at Quincy market. I love Patrone tequila. So smooth, you barely realize that you could get wasted...though I was good...My friends made sure I was getting a ride home with some respectable, nice gay boys so as to minimize the chances of me beign accosted by sketchy dudes...though I walk alone plenty of other nights...
Saturday, I woke up, bought concert tickets, talked to my horribly hung-over friends, made bacon and eggs with the roomies, read a comic or two, talked a friend through an issue, then headed downtown in the rain to Gay Pride, which unfortunately was a bit too soggy. I had one of those moments where I was briefly not sure if I was on the correct route..then a guy walked by me in tight jeans with a thong over them...so I figured I would just follow.
After that wrapped up, I was on my way to a bookstore on Boylston when I saw several long lines of lesbians. I became inquisitive, met a random girl, and eventually found my way inside a rather fun party at the Gypsy Bar (nice and far too swank for how I was dressed). I met some awesome ladies that have restored my faith in finding a gay scene. Met a cute girl, but I was faced with the whole horrible position of her asking "are you a lesbian?", me knowing she wouldn't be interested if I told her the truth, and not knowing what the fuck to do.
Mind you, this was at 5:00 in the afternoon, and by the time I had to leave at 7:30 to meet a friend, I was feeling pretty damn high on life, caffiene, and alcohol. We then proceeded on to my place, where we made pizza and eventually headed to the Boston Hip Hop fest (at the Middle East, my favorite, not so swank in a good way bar). It was a sweet time, but caused some serious ringing in my ears.
Today was the first nice day in weeks, and I had to get out and enjoy via bike riding until I find a good locale to sit and read comics. I also tried to get some good shots of Boston with my camera, but I don't know how they turned out. The sky still kept fucking with me...everytime I would get comfortable and the sun was just right...a cloud would move, I would grow cold, and would start to look like doomsday overhead.
Alright...I'll leave it at that...
