Once again sitting here at my soon to be trainwreck of a job. The SGSac party virus has finally caught up with me. I'm sneezing like crazy, and generally not feeling too good.

I had the displeasure of talking with my boss yesterday, and being informed that I'm going to need to change my schedule to overlap the day and night crew. This means 10 hour minimum days. Technically this means I'll have Fridays off now. But this morning I remembered that most of the people that are on this schedule tend to be forced to work overtime on Fridays.. which also might include me.

It's kind of ridiculous for me to be bitching about having a steady job, and getting all these hours when a lot of my friends are either out of a job, or trying their hardest to scrape up more hours. But as I related in a previous journal, the more hours I spend working the dead end engineering job, the less time I have to study and shoot. Shooting more, and spending time promoting my work is about the only thing I have that is going to get me out of my hole, and I feel my opportunities are being quickly taken away from me.
