A heart of stone, a smoking gun
I can give you life, I can
take it away

I'm sitting here thinking of what I should write. I 've got too many things running through my mind, and most of them shouldn't be spilled out for all too see.. It's hard to explain my current state. I find myself blissfully happy and at ease in my romantic, or home life. Yet right now my daily work life is getting extremely stressful, and my artistic pursuits seem to be clashing with it every chance it can take. I feel myself quickly approaching the edge of the cliff, but I don't think all my feathers have grown in yet.

Soooo.. You kids get to see some random pictures from Moiraes travels. I think I'm going to post a few every journal along with the random tidbits that still litter my memory. There is a ton of stuff, and it's a shame it sits on my hard drive shut off from the world that spawned it..

I like bikes... Simple enough. This one was parked on a shady back alley in Bordeaux. There was some really good drum and bass playing out of a second story flat up the street while I shot this, along with the interesting smell of back alleys, and amazing french cooking wafting up from the bistro behind us.

This is the brides dress as she was getting ready for the wedding. Beautiful dress, and she was getting ready with her sister and bridesmaid in what used to be the attic of an old farmhouse a few minutes down the hill from the chateau where the ceremony was.

This is the little town outside of Pau where we were staying for the wedding. We had just got come back from the wedding reception at 3:00 am and we were waiting for the concierge to wake up and let us in to the hotel. This is the night before Bastille Day, so all the streets and houses were decorated. It was wonderfully silent, and sitting there with the slight buzz of champagne and a cool night breeze was amazing. The Caf at the corner on the right made the most amazing latte I've ever experienced.

This is the crew I rolled with for most of the trip. We are all completely different on just about every possible level, but I wouldn't have traded them for anybody else. This was another back alley in Bordeaux. This was Bastille Day. We wandered around till dark, then found a Greek kabob restaurant by the river to watch the fireworks. I wandered over to a little wine store and picked up a bottle of champagne to surprise the group while they were getting a table. We sat and drank, and watched the fireworks till midnight.
