"yeah I like you in that
like I like you to scream
but if you open your mouth
then I can't be responsible
for quite what goes in
or to care what comes out
so just pull on your hair
just pull on your pout"
Nothing like a three day weekend to leave me all tired and un-rested for the work week.
Cine:
You haven't lived till you've filmed three gay hookers beating a "Finding Nemo" pinata full of eggs in an alley. Saturday concluded the last material needed for the "I Kill People for Money" infomercial/trailer. So hopefully that project is entirely behind me now. Stay tuned for a YouTube link soon.
Monday marked the first day of shooting for the new project tentatively titled "The Turn". The first shot had me swinging the camera off the edge of the fifth story of a parking garage. It looked straight down to an alley with the two characters dragging a body out of a van and dropping it behind some dumpsters. Looked amazing, and everything else from the first day looked great as well. Hopefully the momentum keeps up.
Chips, Salsa and Empty pools:
Kage and I ventured down the valley to hang out with my friend Roy Sunday morning. For me, no trip south is complete with out getting breakfast at Suzys. A quick stop and we gorged ourselves on huevos rancheros, and all the fresh chips and salsa we could eat. Met up with Roy, rode a few skateparks. Nibbled an empty pool, and told a few funny stories before heading back north.
We then got all dolled up and went to see Kill Bill at the coffee shop with Becca. Caught a quick nap, then off to the gothy club for dancing, and drinks courtesy of the wonderful Dogmadeth. Ended the evening cooking ramen by candlelight at 2am... yeah I'm classy.
