My boss just came in and started an intense 10 min. debate with my fellow engineers and I. Not about a complex mechanical issue effecting a crucial radio antenna somewhere in Kuala Lampur, But about the perforation offset on separated double ply toilet paper. This escalated into multicolored graphic representations on the white boards, as well as a hands on experiment with a fresh roll of toilet paper brought from the bathroom. Precision measuring instruments were implemented, and calculations were performed.
As amusing as this all was (especially since some client was probably being billed the hours), I cant help but feel like this job is a complete waste of my time
