you just gotta love insomnia!
Had a pretty great time last night! Got to Poopys movie over in Los Feliz ten minutes after the film had started, still was able to understand the basic plot thread, so chalk one up for high school french classes! (el yay!) Went to Freds for grub and tea afterwards, was joined by masses of SGLA-ers, all in various states of inebriation and undress! Woo! Cedar showed up with her two new friends, her poor swollen cheeks from Saturdays surgery! Oy vey! Prirate, Toxic, Trouble, Christie (with new pinko hair), Jujujujuju, ticklish one, Kitty, Bridget, and many more were there. Bridit the best drove Me to the room of deep reddness, but not before We stopped by Ameoba to let Unkle Moho indulge in his late 70's Irish punk obsession by puchasing a fine investment in the form of a 2 CD set of the Undertones singles! Don't know who they is young'uns? Pick up Rhinos 4 CD box set, No Thanks, and STUDY!!! Learn how to be a punk in 12 easy lessions, pain free! No needles!
Saw Trilo there and a few others, but felt the claustrophobia I always do there very quickly. I'm not a drinker, I don't smoke, I therefor don't hang in bars and yell very often, and definitly not when My hot redhead is safe at home waiting to snuggle up to a old grateful fool with to much hair pomade! Actually Jenni drove from home to pick said senior citizen up at Ameoba, and My dogs were gratful as all heck. Fell asleep shortly after the daily show wrapped up, only to awaken at 4 a.m. with nasty low blood sugar (forgot to eat late last nite! DOH!). Stumbled to fridge, grabbed chocolate and diet coke. Headed to book shelf and grabbed odd book on kidnapping (hear that Wren, be careful, I'm in training!) and dropped into the hot bath to try and raise sugar level and spirits. After hour of wettness, I tip toed back to bedroom, slinked into clothingh from pervious evening (conveniently left on floor), kissed snoring redhead and told her wence I was to flee to and set off for local 24 hour Cyber Cafe. Here I be, and ain't you glad to read all about it???
