Ok not really but I have got the hang of writing and reading Swedish. But I can't speak it. The pronunciation is insane. They have a longer alphabet than us - and they have aprox 4 ways of pronouncing the letter g depending on what letter follows it. I am going to be over there sounding like a typical tourist!
Though around 80-90% of Swedish people can speak English so they'll probably just pity me and reply in my own language.
So I am now into week 2 of my holiday off work. So far I have done nothing more productive than go to Liverpool and get my passport and play a lot of pool at the pub. Which is how I realised I have the most ridiculous concentration face which I shall share with you now.
