Still wearing the old pair of glasses, at least the prescription didn't change all that much, so i only had a headache the first couple of hours (plus thankfully I napped for like 4 hours that day... ahhh naps "childhood's gift")
I listen to music a lot when I write, almost like a soundtrack for my story, i also seem to do so when I'm thinking.
Music seems to strike a chord with the soul (bad pun, my apologies). It plucks at your heart, and strums on your neurons. it fires up the spirit and captures you in its embrace before letting you go and hoping that you'll find your own use for its lingering inspiration.
I've been on a huge 'Coldplay' spree lately. I'm a loving their shit. Just the themes, the chords, the bass line (jesus christ that bass line drags my soul into ecstasy every time i listen to it, 'Daylight', that ending strum... just so fucking kicks ass )
To Quote:
Ooh and the sun will shine
Yeah on this heart of mine
Ooh and I realized
Who cannot live without
Ooh and come apart without
Daylight
Just listening to it every morning, as those damn'd first rays of light smack me right in my tender eyes (yeah morning isn't my fav part of the day, i have a nice bed) helps me not kill the first people I see (which is good because anal rape in jail would suck big time... oooh double entendre. tee hee.
)
I finally reached level 30 in WoW, as a druid this means I've acquired my 'travel form' which means, I can 'run' places instead of 'light walk' all over the world. needless to say, i'm pleased.
Recent contemplations:
-Life is complicated, right before you can figure it out it decides "yo bitch, try this on for size", thats what makes it worth it. without challenge, there can be no decent EXP (oh ho ho and you thought I could avoid a WoW reference, FOOL!)
-I admire and respect my friends, I really do. I've chosen them because of their unique attributes, rest assured if the world were in peril I'd already have my battle party selected.
(though my part would probably end up being the useless one, don't know what that currently is in the RPG world)
-I love physics; duh its my major. I may hate my instructor but just thinking about things like GUT and TOE make me tickled pink.. (or manly deep navy blue. manly manly )
-I love writing; I was psyched about writing just a few stupid pages last night, just ask JennRose, she put up with my sillyness. Why she does it, I may never know. That mighty fine lady is amazing.
-I like working and being productive; it makes me feel useful and almost like I might have some skills or talents. Maybe I'm just born to be the Corporate whore. no idea. would explain my inexplicable love and idolizing of captilism....
-Self contemplation can be fun and enlightening. I suggest it to everyone, though to the faint of heart a warning: have a great friend. I have one, and its made things easier.
-Pain is necessary for progress.
and I'm done.
DAAAAMN this is huge!
who's actually going to read through all this!
Take it easy all,
