This weekend has been interesting to say the least. I wasn't feeling up to doing much Friday after surgery, but I got out of the house a little bit anyway. Even if it was just to go out to eat.

Then on Saturday, I still wasn't feeling the greatest, but I made my way out through the rain to get my prescription filled and go to the bookstore. I admit it, I'm a nerd who likes to read. I didn't find much that struck my interest, but it felt good to get out of the house regardless. Anyone who knows me, knows that I hate to sit at home if there is any way that I can get out. Late at night, a friend messaged me saying that they were hungry, so I ended up going back out after midnight to get something to eat.

Now today, I got a message on my cell phone well after it had been sent. Apparently a local video store is going out of business and selling their inventory extremely cheap. So a friend picked me up a few dvd's. Two of which I absolutely love, and can't wait to get completely through. I don't know that many people watched a lot of HBO, but there was a comedy series on a couple of years ago called Lucky Louie. I absolutely loved the series, although it only lasted one season. Anyway, two of the dvd's are the complete series of Lucky Louie. What surprised me more than anything about it all, is that they picked up almost ten dvd's total, and spent just over $20. Between the books I picked up and the dvd's, I have something to do while I'm laying in bed trying to heal up. Now if I were just ab;e to get up and feed myself, I'd be good to go. Shouldn't take more than a couple of days before that happens I think.
