I finally got to see another doctor about my foot and the constant pain. The good news is that he doesn't think it's time for drastic surgery. The bad news is that he thinks I do need surgery. I don't know exactly when it's going to happen yet, but he said that it's time to take the screws out of my foot, get an MRI, and then see what is going on. It's possible that an infection or something of the sort set into the area, and is causing most if the issues. It also means that I'll be down for a few weeks once I have the surgery done. In the mean time, child support is being unbareable. Because the person I was working with about school could see that I am in need of some type of surgery, they opted to close my case temporarily. So child support decided that I have to find work, which as many know I haven't had any luck with. Now they are going to take my license because "I'm not cooperating with them", even though they have been told that I in fact will be having surgery at some point in the near future. All that stands between me and surgery is a piece of paper from Worker's Compensation authorizing the surgery. What is the point of finding a job that I'm likely to have to quit or get fired from in a month or two when the surgery happens? My injury is from a previous employer, no new employer is going to want me to be off of work right after starting. Why can't the state understand that? Yes, I'm a little pissed off with the state of Ohio at the moment. I've tried to comply with everything they've wanted, but they refuse to use any common sense about anything.
