Mmm... new picture. I'm back bitches!
For some unknown reason, after an oddly cinematic nightmare, I couldn't fall back to sleep. I think my brain was stuck in a dream state. I decided after a good 45 minutes of trying to fall back to sleep that it was time to suck it up and get the hell outta bed. Mind you it was five AM. So, for the past five hours, I've been playing Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. It's like every Pokemon game ever but with better graphics since it's on the Gamecube. However, this means I like it now. We'll see how I feel in a few days... or tomorrow.
The four game out plan at Gamefly may be too much for me. It's overstimulating. You have a choice of FOUR games, all of them new to you at one time. It's too much. It doesn't help that I just did the massive, post-holiday return. I took out a ton of portable games for the trip which I've received mostly RPGs in return for. The only one of the group that's not an RPG is Ratchet and Clank, which is a platformer. This will also be a time suck.
Well, if nothing else, it'll give me a way to spend my time while I wait to fly off to SF. Two more weeks! I'm hoping and meditating on there being some sort of TWiT event that I can check out while I'm there. I'm a shade concerned of truly showing my nerdiness, but I'm not too concerned. teknokitty's a closet ST freak and I know alcoholickitten enjoys the Katamari. I'll be in good company.
