I ran over something with my car on the way home from Pete's just now. I hope I don't wake up with a flat tire tomorrow afternoon. Whatever it was shattered to pieces. I can't imagine what it could have been. Right before it happened I believe I was in a state of almost complete euphora. As I drove home listening to this song (Mungo Jerry- In the Summertime*) I thought to myself, there is something about this world, something about my being that makes me afraid to die. I wish I knew what it was, so that by the time my life time ends, I would have the chance of destroying it.
