It's fucking freezing out! Now I'm nursing a cold due to this weather.
Went into the city this morning, we screened The Last New Yorker. It's a cute film that any new yorker can appreciate, it's not going to see a wide or long release but it's a good date flick. As guests we had the director Harvey Wang and one of the stars Dick Latessa. Dick Latessa is a really nice and funny guy, he does a lot of Broadway shows and is doing "Promises Promises" and "Little Mrs Sunshine" so I may go see those shows when they come out.
After the movie I stopped in JC Penny, they had some suit separates on sale but when your a 48 short it's tough to find your size. Because of my cold I really didn't bother too much and just headed for the train station. On the way home I stopped at the tailors to pick up my clothes I had dropped off for altering. It sucks not being able to wear off the rack, $121 for 2 pair of pants and 1 sport coat, good thing I didn't buy anything at JCP.
When I got home the landlord was sitting outside waiting for a contractor because one of the other apartments needs a new floor. I asked him about getting mine done so he brought the contractor up to measure mine as well. Finally I'll have a new kitchen/bathroom floor, probably won't be done until mid-march but at least it's finally going to get done. Better off having it done after snow season anyways.
