My mood is so-so right now. It's finals week for me. I've taken two and I have four to go, finishing next Monday.
Today is my study day and I am also going to be having a Secret Santa party this evening.
I'm mad because apparently an 87 is a B at my school, and since I had an 87.5, my professor decided to be an asshole and not bump me up to an 88, giving me a B+. So, now my gpa will most likely be a 3.6 unless somehow magically one of my A- turns into an A.
Right now, including that B, my grades would be:
French: A
(Exam Monday.)
Pirates and Sailors: A-
(Turned in a paper last week that sucked... So we'll see where that goes. Exam tomorrow.)
Women in Asia: A
(Turned in a paper last week. It was bad but my other bad paper got an A. She gives me A's on everything. Exam Friday.)
Civil Rights Movement & the Courts: A
(But we just took the final yesterday. I had a 99 on the midterm which was 40% of the grade and the final is 50% so we'll see...)
American Politics: B ( I have to work my ass off to make sure this gets to a B+ or at least stays where it is, so I'm trying. I shouldn't have slacked off in this class.)
Human Eco Footprint: B
(And my exam was last Monday.)
So... My gpa can range anywhere from a REALLY low 3.7 to a high 3.5.
If I go to a high 3.6, I can deal with it. If I drop to a 3.5, I will cry. It's lame but I don't care. I want to get into a good law school.
On another note, I'm making a youtube video with my friends next semester based off the video game Fatal Frame, hahaha. We're going all out. I'll post it on here when I finish it. We have a lot of work to do to make it good/somewhat creepy.
I'm kind of sad to go home for break because I'm going to miss people here. Home is nice but there is less to do, less people to see, and less ability to drink without risking getting arrested.
I'm also a little sad because everyone is going to be busier next semester so I might not see people as much and I hate sitting in my room. My roommate is loud and tends to be obnoxious. Plus some people are leaving for studying abroad -- which I can't afford to do.
Sigh. Anyway I'm just looking forward to classes next semester and such. I'm glad to have the break, too.

spladow:
how is your pirates and sailors class? what dept. does that fall under, history? Finals mindset is a crazy thing, I'm sure you'll do fine though. from those current grades you sound like you're pretty on the ball.
