the stars are different here. just as bright, and the same celestial bodies, but in different locations relative to me. it sinks in how far i am from what i really want to call my home.
i miss the skies of the sahara; clear and crisp and with nothing yet everything to offer. so much potential for-- for what, exactly, i'm unsure.
I think nearly every state in America has a unique Sky. Even the Lord respects State's rights, apparently.
North Carolina and Tennessee have the same sky. It's gorgeous. It's soothing. Illinois sucks. Kansas is almost bewildering fantastic, at night, in a lightning storm. As well as reminiscent of a Who song.Kansas has great sunsets, too.

i got to visit NYC for about a day and a half last year. didnt get to see too much. we were just in the area cuz my dad was in a bowling tournament. hehe.
