Some of my chums are thinking of going up to Dante's tonight to see the Corey Feldman Band. The morbid part of me that wants to rubberneck at a passing traffic accident secretly desires to come along and witness the grisly carnage that I'm certain will ensue at this show. I dunno if I've got the stomach for it. Goddamn would it be funny though...
However Da Vinci days are starting down here in Corvallis, which'll be cheaper and there'll be plenty of fun live music to check out and hopefully be able to dance to a little bit. Nothing spectacular I don't think, but a pretty righteous latin orchestra is playing Sunday evening after a taiko drum group, and that sounds like a quality double feature to me.
This has been a strangely great summer for me. I've been relatively destitute, which sucks, but it really has been a fantastic summer in spite of that. Anybody else having a good time?
