Last night was pretty damn interesting. A good time, for sure. I felt obliged to take off around midnight which was a drag, but I didn't want my magical motorhome to turn back into a turnip before I returned to my sister's house. I also couldn't get TOO drunk, because I had to work early in the mornin'. They just started playing dance music right before I left, and that's what I had been waiting for all evening... Oh well. Mebbe next time I'll be in a better position to rock my ass off.
Hung out with a bunch of the usual gang. Pondered why Zanarki wasn't lurking in the shadows and leaping off the balcony. Met a slew of new people, both familiar faces and new faces, which was grand. Didn't get to spend much time chatting with half of the people I would have liked to talk with though. It was so packed and everyone was so busy I decided not to shove myself into their faces for the most part.
A good night. Interesting to see so many people I quasi-know and observe them in action to get a better taste of what they really are like. Neat-o! And try as I might, I just don't think I could fit Penelope into a suitcase to take to Asia. She's much taller than I was expecting. Perhaps a garment bag.
Back to Corvallis for one more weekend and then I'm fully moved out. I'll miss it, but thank God I'm gonna be in Portland at last...

I just wanted to say that Mia's performance was my favorite of the night. Now I understand her dazzling piratude, which I've heard so much about.
Jessica and Siren's glitterfest was a close second for me, solely because they looked so goddamn cool covered in glitter from head to toe.
All the performances were awesome, but those two were particularly inspiring, I thought...
*2nd Addition*
I forgot to mention our big, sweet-ass party tomorrow down in Corvallis. I know, I know; it's Corvallis, but my posse's got velocity and we brew up a mean theme-party, and tend to have staggering amounts of booze.
If anyone's interested, feel free to write me, or better yet, write Miami, because I'm going to be computerless in a few hours. I'll be able to check my email tomorrow though. If anyone is still around from out of town, it'd be a blast to have you swing by and get plowed!
Cheers!
