it's the weirdest thing to come home one day, after work, and stressed about exams, to find that you're on the net and people are reacting and a lot respecting who you are.... without even knowing who you are.... i wish i knew most of you, so that i could properly thank you all... it's nice to be recognized.... and it's nice to be recognized for who you are, no matter type, body and interests.... ok so enough i can be overly cheesy...

so, in a couple of hours, i'm off to the airport..... for two weeks in bogota! i'm totally psyched, but totally burnt out from work, school and trip planning.... i'm dying to go for a swim, to sleep-in, to not think... to just live life.... oh, and in order to prepare my pasty skin for the new climate.... (even though it's kinda cold there right now), i went tanning... yes, ugh, tanning.... and i look like a lobster.... haha... isn't that life... tough shit, never lettin' everything you want to work out, work out perfectly...

it's completely white out here in montreal....
i love the feel of x-mas time... the snow, the lights, the shopping... (although i should be shopping for people other than myself... oups... hehe), the feel that for once a year, everyone seems to be in the same boat, doing the same thing, and for a little split second here and there, people are more preoccupied with shopping and the festivities, than their clothes and how 'cool' they are, no one seems to judge as much during this time of the year.... (except the fancy shmancy shops who seem confused when little me in my boots and rolled up pants is looking for some sort of formal attire - FUCK OFF i think to myself, with the words bleeding through my eyes).... i think that's something that i really love about this site... is that no matter what you look like and how you are, you can still be respectful, sweet and dressy..... just because you have dreads, tats, piercings and may snarl in some pictures, doesn't mean you're any less of a woman than the cheap purfumed chick next door.

ahhh, and the first few beers set in... numbing my aching muscles.... one of my absolute fav. feelings....

enough about me.... i swear... once i get back, i'll get back to all you lovely people who were so kind enough to make my day sunday past!
