Well I'm back. I've been posting and commenting around since yesterday but just didn't update til today. You know how when you go away for a few days and then come back? There's always so much shit to catch up on!
I did try to read all the journals and groups but realized very quickly that it would take forever and I gave up. Sorry I missed some of your journals, I hate that.
Here's a picture update of my camping trip in the Allegheny National Forest.
This is our campsite. It was pretty secluded and you cant see the other campsites from yours. Very nice.
My husband is the master fire maker and this is a metal mountain pie maker that learned this the hard way.
We did a lot of boating on the Allegheny River. It's just gorgeous and the water is clean enough that I wasnt afraid to swim.
The boat had tubes and skis. My husband tried water skiing for the first time and was able to get up on that first try. Prick. He's cute though, eh?
I tried once when I was a kid and I'll never do it again. That shit's hard.
We also visited the Kinzua Bridge and Dam. The bridge is a train bridge that was one of the tallest when it was built. The pic from my last journal was from 2003, before a tornado that came through and destroyed it. I had no idea of this until we got up there! The dam protects all of the Allegheny River from flooding.
Here's the train bridge before the tornado.
and after
This is the tornado's path that came down the valley. The tornado came through more than two years ago.
This is a picture of the Kinzua dam. It's huge!
Hope you enjoyed the pics, we had a great time.

Yeah, we will either have a new house party, or we will have a cookout for the Stiller game vs. the Eagles in mid-August.
Eveyone here is welcome.
