Thanks everyone for all the congratulations.
I've pretty much avoided anything dealing with the computer or telephone due to having 'The Worst Headache Ever Known To Man'.
The doctor says it's a side effect of the spinal given to me during the c-section. Even the percocets I'm taking don't touch it. I have a constant humming in my brain and if I stand for too long the accompanying headache is pretty dibilitating. I've taken to laying on my couch all day. And I do mean all day since I can't sleep in my waterbed because it hurts to get in and out of it.
Just to warn any of you who decide to have children, breastfeeding is fucking hard. I knew this going into it, but really they aren't lying to you when they say it's a learning process for mom and baby.
On a positive note though, my boobs look out of control. However, they are also hard as a rock and very not sexy.
Life is quiet on a whole though and I can't complain. My new family is totally worth it.

oh my gosh, I have to gush when i see your sweet babe. I had an epidural headache too..the fluid is low on yer brain so it is touching the sides of your scull. I wouldn't let them do a blood patch so instead I drank tonnes and tonnes of liquids including caffeine which they told me would help, but didn't really. It will get better in two weeks, you're over the worst part. and the breastfeeding will come with time, you are both learning..stick with it...sending you good vibes from up north...
