Fourth of July was great. Hung out with family, went swimming, and ate A LOT. It was very much a needed break from the week.
I went down to the lake to see my neighbors shoot off fireworks. I GOT EATEN ALIVE BY BUGS!!! I came home to watch the Macy's New York fireworks. Not the same. It's like having a girlfriend walk around naked in your house but you're in another country and can only see her through skype. My dad and I went outside and lit off a couple of rockets and I had more fun in five minutes with twenty bucks worth of rockets than I did seeing a million dollar fire works show on tv.
I've been listening to ESPN radio in NY this week. I want to talk about the Yankees. As a Yankees fan, I've been lucky to have had good players on the team for the last decade. With the payroll the yanks have, you'd expect it. So this year, with the majority of the team on the DL, it's been quite refreshing. A-Rod last year sucked. He was not worth the money near the end. Jeter is a good player and goes for the win but he's twice injured now. But the team that's playing now is interesting. They're finally getting younger players on the field. The pitching is finally getting better. So I will admit that I wrote the team off in the beginning and then I find out they're in first place. The Met's swept them but they're playing over five hundred ball. I am pleasantly following this season.
I was hanging out with a friend of mine the other day. He's a web developer in his spare time and his second job so he gave me some help with my site.
