so, I just got hosed. I got an email from the owner of Rivington Guitars as a buyer from of of craigslist saying for me to bring my head by an he would buy it right off me. It needed a volume knob change, so i knocked off that from the price. Mind you, know the asking price and i know the price that it's worth, i went straight to the no bullshit, no negotiation price of what it's exactly worth. Then i threw in the coveted mounting kit for which this oddly shaped amp needs and requires a special order.
I get over there, this guy pretends it's his first week on the job and offered me half the money that i said. he and i both know what it's worth especially with the mounting kit. Originally, in the email he said he would buy it - no problem for what i wanted. I told him no, i know what it's worth and i could get that. Hell, i'm pretty insulted that he made me bring it down there to pull that shit on me. I had to haul it home, something i think that they didn't think i'd want to do.
The other day when I told my friend about what Rivington Guitars (that's on rivington) was going to do, he said, "Wow, they are being fair, normally they like to screw people." I can't wait to tell him that hasn't changed.
