THANK-YOU OMNIDRIVE! You soooo get your own special picture when I get new ones taken. I think maybe should place the SG sticker strategically. *grin*
I've been dancing around to your demos since I've gotten them. In the car, in the house .....they are my listening companions! Thanks so much. It's been awhile since I've gotten a present! Yay! You should have seen me pick them up at the post office! I was like a little girl when I figured out where they were from!~
I will be passing them on to my various promoter friends and who knows?! Woohoo!
That's an interesting point about not writing well. I don't usually think about it, but it makes sense. Sometimes when I read people's arguments I just get confused by them - but I can imagine how not having people understand the point you're trying to make can become so frustrating that you lash out against them. Still, it's not a very productive way to go about things.
And I've definitely seen plenty of people take things personally in an internet argument. Unnecessarily so - but a lot of people don't seem to get the idea that it's the argument being attacked, not them. I've had raging debates with people in one thread while carrying on pleasant conversations with them in another - I like that sort of compartmentalization you can have on the internet that you can't have in real life, but I guess a lot of people don't agree.
I'll add another suggestion for you - I think people tend to act in a more extreme way when they aren't face to face. The fact that they're completely anonymous, and have absolutely no risk of real-life retribution (like getting punched in the nose) for saying something obnoxious I think allows people to say things they never would in real life.
