Well....I've had an interesting weekend. Very interesting....lots of soul searching, people watching, jaw dropping, and booty shaking.
My feet have some deadly wickedlyawesome callous going down. Yay! No more pain....... My little dood went to his grampa's so I worked all week and then danced my butt off Thurs., Fri. and Saturday. Wonderful!
The boi that got the axe....he just keeps doing things I don't really understand and don't want to be a part of. He really does scare me and I hope for his sake, he finds his way out of whatever he's in.
Went to the bar last night. This is the first time I've been to a regular bar night in years. I don't usually go because people are rude and have no manners. I have many friends who are fun drunks and get silly and we all have a great time. However, I think a lot of people when put in a bar with flashing lights and some hip hop, turn into weirdos. I always go with a lot of people and it never fails because I get hit on in some really gross, disrespectful way and it upsets me. Why can't someone just come up and say "Hi? I'm....... I wanted to come over and introduce myself. yada yada..." Doesn't happen, especially with me. So, I always go with a support group and then I feel like I can relax and have a good time.
So, picture this......this particular bar is quite large with 3 levels and a very nice dance floor. I find a nice quiet out of the way spot to dance. The dance floor is packed and there is no room anyway which sucks and I hate. So, I'm dancing away and this table in front of me is watching and I'm starting to get a little bit uncomfortable when two women come up to me. "You are a great dancer! What is your name? Do you give lessons?" Hahaha.....so I gave these two women dance lessons right in the bar. Total fun.
There was this young woman who stared at me for the longest time, at my body. So I finally stood very still and looked at her face until she looked up at me. Then, I smiled. She reacted like I burned her. LOL.
I befriended the bouncers and had interesting conversations with them, grabbed them drinks for a tip and talked about dj equipment with the dj.
No one bothered me or slobbered on me and I had a nice time off in my neck of the woods. My two friends got really drunk and I got them safely home at the end of the night.
I don't quite fit in to this world. I always have some culture shock while I am there but I always seem adapt somehow and make it worth my while. It's also a good reminder of how a good portion of how society operates. It's also a blinding reminder of how different, for better or worse, I am. However, I did have a good time but I think I've had my barstar fix for quite awhile.
I'm going to really buckle down now and save some money to go to WEMF this year. I'm going to take my little dood with me. I think we will have a blast.

Axe? Like the type of axe you thrash on, or the type that you chop with?
So that is how you approach women? That explains it! I was trying to use "nice shoes. wanna fuck?" Thanks for the tips.
Wanna give me dancing lessions next?
