I have been wrapped in pearls and lace, laid naked in wet sand, and walked barefoot in the forest. I'm willing to do a photo shoot under almost any conditions if it's in the name of art. My favorite forms of art are when I can open up my many layers and reveal a new piece of myself that maybe no one has experienced yet. My most recent and so far favorite experience in this was my most recent Little Space shoot that took place last week.
You may know that I am a polyamorous stoner who is drawn to dark and twisted spooky things. And yet, I have a softer side that needs nurtured. I am a Little and I enjoy living a DDlg lifestyle. For those that don't know, DDlg stands for Daddy Dom Little Girl. Think a Dominant/submissive relationship where the Dom is warm and protective and the submissive is soft, sweet, and playful.
It's no secret that I battle Bipolar Disorder 1. It wreaks havoc on my mind, life and world. DDlg and Little Space help me take care of my mental health and provide me with an innocent way of self care that others can take part in. As a little I take care of myself by coloring, taking extra foamy bubble baths, cuddling with my stuffies, and nurturing my oral fixation.
For this last photo shoot I found a photographer who was excited by my little space theme and happy to help me showcase my softer side. She encouraged me to bring my favorite stuffies, pacifiers, and books to pose with. Above I'm pictured with my favorite of my stuffies, is "Wallie", my Koala bear that my boyfriend and girlfriend bought me for Valentine's Day. This photographer and I giggled all through the shoot as we captured my Little self. I felt empowered to show off the soft side that helps me battle my demons. I cannot wait to share this set with you sometime next spring!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
