Teeth
by Mitchell Lichtenstein
Lordy, I saw "Teeth" last night. Mark my words: This is the sleeper hit of the year. Errr next year, probably, when it will surely gain distribution and become one of the most talked-about films evorrrr!
It centers around a chaste girl's discovery of her own genetic anomality that puts her in a position of power; wielded clumsily at first, then culminating in a delicious self-mastery toward the finish.
Anyone unfamiliar with the mythology surrounding vagina dentata would come to know it through the film, but would benefit from knowledge thereof ahead of time, as its innuendo builds slowly but is ever present--from the title sequence to the credits ("No man was harmed in the making of this film" Ha!)
I think this film now tops my list. Sorry, Borat.
Currently listening to WITH-uh TEETH-uhhhh!
by NIN
HA!
P.S.
I'm still accepting applications. See previous post re: harem.
