I had a pretty good weekend. Friday night I headed over Bathory's and played with her pug, Bug and we played Pop Culture Trivial Pursuit and I won! It was a complete fluke that I won. I got very lucky and knew the answers to easy questions and just seemed to roll the dice to just what I needed. I'm never that lucky!
Saturday, EvanX, Nirbhao, and I went out to dinner with our friend Matt. Nirbhao had never been to On The Border before so I hope she enjoyed it. I always get the double stacked quesadillas. Yummy....though I found out they're not very good reheated. After dinner, we went over Matt's and played Guitar Hero. I suck. Nirbhao did awesome. She blew me away. She also bought me Ben and Jerry's. Once again, she's awesome. Sunday, we went out to Bestbuy. Evan liked Guitar Hero so much he wanted to buy it and we had a 10% off coupon. We ran into Morie's boy friend, Nic, who informed us they were completely out. frown So we drove to the other mall and they had a ton! smile So now we own Guitar Hero. I still suck. I'm much better at bass lines...on easy.
Today I'm trying to get a couple things done I've been meaning to do. It's bowling night and we're playing a tough team. Wish us luck!

Sounds like my itinerary (less the present because I haven't gotten one yet).

I propose a contest: one of us will call the other to see how much/little progress has been made at that time. As an added bonus, the call should come at a time when significant progress is unlikely. Now THAT is my typical carpool scheme. biggrin

Speaking of Mexi food, I took Dustin to an authentic mexican place the other day and he ordered some random thing that had picante sauce. Dustin hates all things hot. So his eyes are watering, he's swearing at me, and refuses to go order something else. Later in the day, he turns to me and says in his most pathetic voice "I'm never eating anything hot again. I feel like I licked a cactus."
