ok. I like temping when I have work.
I was at the office today... and like at around 4 ish this window pops up on my desktop that says "beer-oclock in 15 minutes" beer? what? you mean beer? damn, I love being a graphic designer. beer on Fridays. in the office. that's what its all about. I'm just sad that next friday, I'm unavailable to be there. but. . . on the other hand, I'll be on my way to NYC!
so, yeah, I hope they'll need me again in the future. its been all good.
well, then went to dinner with a freind K. she lives like two minutes from where I was at so I gave her a ring and said... lets go to dinner, and we did. top shelf margarita's for five bucks.... ok sign me up for two!
so, that is a day in the life of a Friday for Medusa.
no. I felt bad actually, sloth crawled back into bed with me this morning and kept me there til 10 am. I really had planned to be up at 8 am. damn you sloth... I thought I cast you out of my life already!
well, old habits die hard.
I have been seeing more of the people that mean a lot to me as of lately, and that is something that I was missing when I was working a bazillion hours a week.
oh, and yesterday, I went and signed up for a pair of reading glasses. they were on clearance, and the shop was having a 40% off sale and... employee discount of 10%... so, overall, 30% original price, 40% off that price plus 10% off that price... well. I am happy. they are cute, yet simple, yet elegant frames.. I like. I hope to have them before NYC as I will be reading lots on the plane and such. *grins with great satisfaction*
anyway.... I think it is time to watch some epic films like... oh, LOTR all in order.... it is my weekend off afterall, and well, I don't have the most recent Harry Potter on DVD yet. (still reading the book).
