ok. Never made it out of bed for the Hockey Match. oops. dang sleep. I blame PBS for forcing me to watch documentaries til 2 a.m.
I am slagging on the job search. It is really hard to keep the momentum going. to keep that excited "I'm gonna get a new job" feeling going. Now its like, "dang, am I ever gonna get a new job?"
I have a bum knee. it has been bothering me since I got back from Fla. in the beginning of January. I aggrivated by trying to jog the other day. I guess my knee says no. I think what really did it in was I was on this kick that since I was working all the time, I would fit my exercise in on my breaks at work. So, at the call center, I would take my 15 minute break, and walk the stairs (good workout you know) all eleven flights of them. I guess that is really hard on the knees. As my dad puts it, knees have just never evolved properly. He should know, He hasn't got any as they are all worn out and will be getting replaced this year. ick. poor dad.
I hope to not follow in his footsteps. ever. I will baby my poor knees. No more jogging for me! I would really like to get back into training again. Krav Maga. or something to the likes. I really do like punching and kicking... but, it has been so long, I bet at this point, I am back to hitting like a girl. but.... you bet your ass you better stay out of the way of my knees or feet. jus' sayin'
well.... I do think it is time I get some breakfast. I made some vegan scones last night from scratch. not bad for a first batch. I know what I will do to improve them next time.
so today's list of to do's:
get Rxs filled
make some *networking* phone calls
print up several copies of my resume
get a walk in around the lake, oh, and knee exercises/weights
work tonight
