so here it is now august 4th. in exactly one month i will be back at the u of m going to class!!! eek! im super excited, but at the same time im sad about it. so excited to live in a new place that will just be mine and amy's. and that will be clean, and we'll share things, like splitting the groceries, and it will only be us two instead of 7ppl in a duplex. ugh. living in a 3 bedroom duplex with 7 people(with one being pregnant) is not fun. me and gabe get the basement. mark sleeps on the couch, ron and janel have the master room, and her 2 kids get the other upstairs room. its just too crowded in here so basically just stay in my room all hte time. no big deal. im sad to be leaving my boyfriend too,he's the one that's gonna drive me down to winnipeg with all my stuffff. and hopefully he'll be getting on at inco so that way he will work a certain amount of days in a row then drive down to see me. i've never done long distance before, so we'll see how this works out. well actually, i kind of did long distance for a month last year when i went to moncton,nb for a month for this program l'explore, and i had a boyfriend at the time and it sucked. but i think it was more of because i was in a different environment not knowing anybody, missing my friends and my boyfriend. so we'll see how this goes moving back to the peg... i'm gonna get myself a haircut once i go there by kelly! so excited about that. i need somehting different, or well, pretty much any/every time i move i change my hairstyle by either cutting it or dying it...
but anyways, i'm kind of worried because i sent in my application for my student loan pretty late and it takes like 5 weeks to process. so at the latest that would be september 1st. then by the time that they send it back to me that will probably be like september 5th. and im supposed to have my classes paid for by september 3rd! the day before classes start. which in my opinion is complete B.S. because last year we had up to 2 weeks so that way if you switched classes or w/e then everything would be straightened out by the time you have to pay. so what if i change classes and it costs me more, then i'm going to have to pay 2x? like.. that makes no sense....
i'm just rambling on because i have nothing better to do really, haha and its only 1am. gabe wont be home till like 630am unless he gets off early (very doubtful) and then i have to work @ 10am. i relaly hope it does not rain tomorrow!! i only got to work 2 days last week because of the stupid rain. and one of the days i got sent home early because it was f*n raining. so that week i only got like 11 hours on it or something. ugh. not good when i'm trying to save up money. frig. oh well. when i move its gonna be nuts, gotta get set up for school #1 priority, then straighten out & organize the apartment so it's liveable, and then search for a part time job. well that will probably come before straightening out the apartment. i really hope my step-grandfather keeps his word and pays for my share of the apartment bills. that would help out a lot. like right now i have saved up almost 2000$ (the first time ever in my life, lol) but i know that will go by so fast because one month of rent is like 825$ so like 410$ ea. plus security deposit, plus setting up internet & cable, then i've got my phone bill to pay, then groceries, and ive gotta help pay for gas money to get down to wpg... it's gonna be nuts. oh well, i'll get through it somehow. i always manage to, so i dont see how this time will be any different...
i just realized i've written a short story basically, but its good to get some things off my chest every now and then. and plus i cant sleep. my sleeping pattern is all in tune with gabes. so bascially dont get up until 4pm because he works from 6pm-6am and i haven't been working lately so i might as well be on the same schedule as him until i start working again. fuk. i hope i do start sooooon.
