I was carousing the streets of Marseille with several exotic Frenchwomen while in the Marine Corps and they dragged me into an establishment run by a Spanish guy. The building was 500 years old or so and had rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I spent the next 3 days in a haze with my new found friends. The Green Fairy was of course the cause. It was an indescribable time. I still carry it with me today. He hailed from Rota Spain and also had a business there of which I indulged as well.
